Charlotte is a Violinist who is passionate about creativity, communicating stories and igniting sentiment in others through music performance. She has been absorbed in music from a very young age, and graduated from The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree (Honours) in violin performance.
Charlotte enjoys playing music from a wide variety of genres including classical repertoire, art music from the 19th and 20th century’s, Baroque music, and Celtic or folk music. She has had extensive experience performing as a member of orchestras including the University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, The Conservatorium Baroque Ensemble and the Victorian Youth Symphony Orchestra, chamber ensembles such as trios and string quartets, as well as playing solo and with singer-songwriters. Her musical abilities are not restricted to violin; Charlotte is also a developed pianist and has enjoyed singing in choirs.
Charlotte has had many years’ experience teaching students of all levels, and is looking forward to completing a Masters in Secondary Education from the University of Canberra. She hopes to inspire her students with this same passion for music and the violin, whilst providing them with the support and tuition for improvement on musicality and technique.
