Born in Hong Kong, Felix has been learning violin and viola since the age of 8 and has achieved a performance diploma (Associate of Trinity College London - ATCL) in both instruments at the age of 15 and 16 respectively. Since then he began teaching in primary schools and delivered individual lessons to students from the age of 5, ranged from beginner to advance level (Preliminary to grade 8) for six consecutive years. In his teaching years, he also had the experience of conducting a school string orchestra.
Apart from teaching, Felix had also involved himself in ample performance opportunities. He participated in the Hong Kong School Music Festival in his school years for 7 consecutive years and was the winner of the graded violin and viola competition in the year of 2005 and 2006. He was also the chairperson and concert master of his college’s orchestra and volunteered in the Hong Kong Dream Concert as a helper and performer to expose himself in a wider music communities.
Though he did not choose to study music at University, Felix is still an experienced and passionate music teacher and performer. To Felix, “No matter what level you are at, enjoying the music you are playing is the key to sustaining your interest and improving your technique continuously.”
Felix came to Canberra in 2016 to study his masters degree at the University of Canberra. Coming from a multi-cultural background, Felix can deliver the lessons in different languages as chosen which include English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

30 minutes individual $840/semester (21 lessons)
45 minutes individual $1090/semester (21 lessons)
60 minutes individual $1340/semester (21 lessons)
One off/casual rates: $48 for 30mins, $60 for 45mins, $72 for 60mins
