About Harley

Harley was born a raised in Canberra and has lived there all his life.

 

He became interested in music in primary school when he picked up the Alto Saxophone and began learning through Musicorp. He also participated in the school ensemble run by the same company.

 

Throughout his teenage years he switched from Alto to Tenor and finally changed to guitar. over that time he learned to the roles of rhythm and lead guitar from a private teacher. He graduated in 2014, where he would Join and eventually Lead a number of bands of varying styles including: Heavy metal, Jazz, Funk, Pop and Rockabilly. In 2016 he gravitated towards playing the bass and has since made that his main instrument.

 

Harley began studying music performance at Cit in 2017 where he hopes to complete his Diploma and eventually study at the ANU School of music. He currently Takes the role of singer/ Bassist/ songwriter in five bands, as well as playing in two Jazz ensembles.

 

Harley believes it is impossible not to have a passion for music and loves teaching and helping people to understand and create their own music.

 

Lessons with Harley

Individual guitar lessons with Harley are held at Campbell Primary School, the ACTAM Bungendore Studio and at ACTAM Studios in Fyshwick.
