About Jacqueline

A music graduate of the University of Melbourne, Jacqueline is a violinist with almost 20 years' teaching experience in a range of settings, from private studio to school programs.

Currently the Strings Coordinator at Brindabella Christian College, Jacqueline specialises in teaching the Beginner to Intermediate levels. She teaches individuals and small groups, and directs several String Orchestras.

Jacqueline's teaching approach is a blend of traditional western methods, influenced by Kodaly musicianship, Colourstrings and elements of the Suzuki method.

Jacqueline regularly attends professional development sessions and teacher training courses to remain abreast of current thinking and approaches to string pedagogy.

Jacqueline enjoys playing chamber music and plays regularly with the  ACTAM Chamber Players, the Limestone Consort, and often for local musical theatre productions (Spamalot, Blood Brothers, The Addams Family, and Into the Woods among many others).
