About Rebecca

Rebecca started learning piano when she was 8 and has continued through until she graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the Australian National University. She has also gone on to study a Masters in Teaching (Primary) from the University of New England.

Rebecca moved away from Canberra to Central Queensland, for a 3-year contract, in which time she taught piano after school for the local kids and parents. She has only moved back to Canberra recently to continue her career with ACT Education.

​

Rebecca, being a professional teacher, has found many ways for her students to learn and develop their skills to become independent learners that foster a love of music. Her qualifications, degrees and experience as both a primary school teacher and musician, allow her to easily build relationships with students, which in turn creates a positive, fun and engaging experience when learning the piano.
