Fees range from $35 to $65 per half hour depending on the teacher, this difference reflects the qualifications and experience of each teacher.
You can choose to have casual lessons, or you can enrol for the semester and receive a substantial discount (about $8 per lesson). One off trials are also available by request.

Rowan - Violin, Conducting
Rowan graduated B.Mus in violin with honours from the ANU School of Music and also studied at the Eastman School of Music, New York.
Lucy - Violin, Viola
Hailing from Sydney, violinist Lucy completed a Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying with Dr Goetz Richter.
Ariel - Cello
Ariel was introduced to the cello in her teenage years, and instantly fell in love with this instrument and classical music.
Charlotte S - Violin
Charlotte is a violinist who is passionate about creativity, communicating stories and igniting sentiment in others through music performance.
Jacqueline - Violin, Viola
A music graduate of the University of Melbourne, Jacqueline is a violinist with almost 20 years' teaching experience.
Charlotte W - Violin, Cello
Since returning to Australia in 2000, Charlotte has had a profound impact on the musical life of her country. She possesses an inspirational capacity for altruism towards those who seek great musical ideals and boundless determination to cultivate passion and excellence in her field.
Lucy - Piano
Lucy has been teaching music for the over 20 years, specialising in piano, theory and musicianship tuition. She has completed a Bachelor of Music with Honours and a Doctor of Philosophy.
Chen - Piano
Chenxiao Chen is a third year Piano Performance student under the tutelage of Edward Neeman at the Australian National University.
Samuel - Piano
Sam studied classical piano with Oleg Stepanov at Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, Brisbane, graduating with B.Music in 2016.
Anthony - Accompaniment, Music Craft, Theory
Anthony is a Canberra-based pianist, musicologist, composer, and arranger. As a pianist, he has performed in Australia, England, Germany, New Caledonia, New Zealand, the USA, and Sweden.
Rebecca - Piano
Rebecca started learning piano when she was 8 and has continued through until she graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the Australian National University.
Jackie - Voice
Jackie has a passion for music education and the benefits of singing in both a community and individual aspect. She aims to foster a passion for music and the joy it can bring. She has trained in classical, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary styles.
Justin - Trumpet
As an orchestral trumpet player, Justin has been a regular guest performer with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Sydney Philharmonia, the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, the Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
Shane - Guitar
Shane Lewis is a highly qualified and experienced guitar teacher, specialising in metal, rock, jazz and classical styles.
Harley - Guitar
Harley studied at CIT, undertaking his Diploma in Music Performance in 2017. He currently takes the role of singer/ Bassist/ songwriter in five bands, as well as playing in two Jazz ensembles.
Daniel - Guitar
Dan is an enthusiastic musician and recent graduate of the Bachelor of music and currently studying Honours in Film and Video Game Composition at ANU.
Marlene - Clarinet
Marlene is a classically trained clarinetist and saxophonist. As a performer Marlene specialises in contemporary electro-acoustic compositions and has played in many venues across Australia.
Emma W - Flute
Emma is a third-year Bachelor of Music student at the Australian National University, majoring in classical flute performance.
Zoë - Oboe
Zoë holds the principal oboe position with the Canberra Youth Orchestra and the ANU Orchestra, and performs regularly with Canberra music organisations including the Canberra Philharmonic Society, Everyman Theatre Company, and the Canberra Choral Society.
Helena - Clarinet/Sax
Helena completed a bachelor’s degree with first class honours in music at the Elder Conservatorium of Music in Adelaide, South Australia. While her primary instrument is clarinet, she has also played saxophone in a number of settings.
Emma D - Flute
Emma has been a member of the Canberra Youth Orchestra, ANU concert band, and continues to study with Kiri Sollis. Emma has taught flute for several years and understands that every child has their own strengths.
Zoe - Clarinet/Saxophone
Zoe completed her Bachelor of Music (Performance) at Monash University in Melbourne, and loves teaching and passing on her knowledge and experiences to all her students.
Luka - Flute
Originally from the Netherlands, Luka has been immersed in the world of music from the age of five. Beginning with the recorder and piano, Luka has since progressed to the flute and is currently studying a combined double degree of Music Performance (flute) and Medical Science at the Australian National University. Derrick - Drums, Percussion
Originally from Wollongong, Derrick came to Canberra as a percussionist in the Royal Military College Band, Duntroon. During his 12 years in the band, he was also a member of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Canberra City Band, and Hall Village Brass. He was Lecturer in Percussion at the ANU School of Music from 1982 to 1985.
